Winter is upon us

​Cool Winter Morning
Silence reigns supreme through out
Frost covers the car, the ground and all vegetation
Inward, inward, nature pulls
Introspection, survival is the theme
The bare minimum, the bare bones
Bare trees, brown grasses, slight smells
All seems to be waiting for the warmth of spring
Quietly contemplating the riches to come
Patiently harnessing the energy available to hold on
Taking time to appreciate the journey
To go inside and connect with the Universe
Time to recognize and appreciate our purpose
Faith that the warmth of Spring will come again
